The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. Vercel is the hosting provider, not the operator of AroundTheStream.

• Account and sign-in: your email address, profile name, account identifier and authentication session. Password sign-in is handled by Supabase Auth. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides the basic account information needed for authentication, such as your email and profile name.
• Your watchspace: the movies and shows you save or mark as watched, their titles and identifiers, and the dates of those actions. If you create a share link, the linked page shows your chosen profile name and the saved titles to anyone who has that link. You can disable the link from your account.
• Browsing choices: selected country, streaming services, filters and searches. If you have not chosen a country, the site may use an approximate country from the hosting request to set an initial selection.
• Technical and contact data:information needed to serve and secure requests, such as IP address, browser information and requested pages, plus any message you send to our contact email.

You can browse the catalog without creating an account. An email and sign-in method are needed only for account features. We do not process payments on this website.

• To create an account, keep you signed in, save your personal lists and provide a share link when you request one. This is necessary to provide the account service you choose to use.
• To remember your browsing preferences and return relevant catalog results. This supports the service you request and our interest in making it useful and reliable.
• To protect the website, investigate errors and respond to messages. These uses support our legitimate interests in security and support; legal obligations may also apply to rights requests.
• To understand overall traffic and page performance through Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These tools report aggregated traffic and performance information rather than an account activity history for AroundTheStream. We rely on our legitimate interest in improving the site for any personal data involved in this measurement.

The site does not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects through automated processing.

Supabase uses authentication cookies so that account sessions work. The site also stores your selected country and the outside-EU filter in functional cookies named streamelsewhere_country and streamelsewhere_outside_eu, each set for up to one year. Browser local storage remembers country, provider and filter choices; session storage remembers whether you dismissed a NordVPN offer during the current browser session.

You can remove these preferences using your browser settings. Removing authentication cookies signs you out. Vercel Web Analytics does not rely on third-party cookies for its audience statistics.

• Vercel hosts the site and provides Web Analytics and Speed Insights.
• Supabase provides authentication and the database for account details, saved titles and watchlist shares.
• Google is involved only when you choose Google sign-in.
• TMDB supplies title information and JustWatch-powered availability; the site may also use Streaming Availability API for catalog checks. These catalog requests are made by our server. We do not send your account email or personal watchlist to those catalog services.
• NordVPN offers are affiliate links. If you follow one, you leave AroundTheStream and the destination can process your visit under its own privacy rules. AroundTheStream may earn a commission if you buy.

Providers may process data in countries outside your own, including outside the European Economic Area. Their linked notices describe their processing and transfer arrangements.

Account details and saved titles remain while your account is active, unless you remove individual titles or request account deletion. You can ask us to delete your account at hello@aroundthestream.com. Browser preferences remain until you clear them or their cookies expire. Support correspondence and technical records are retained only as long as needed to respond, secure the service and meet any applicable legal obligations. Provider logs and backups follow the relevant provider retention settings.

You can edit your profile name and manage saved titles and share links from your account. Where data protection law applies, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing when the applicable rules allow it. Email hello@aroundthestream.com with your request. We may need to verify that the account is yours.
